We currently have an opportunity for an administrator to work within the service department supporting the sales, manufacturing, accounts, and engineering areas of the business.
The support aspect of your role will encompass the input of returned engineer service sheets, material sourcing, accounts admin, ordering parts ensuring policies and procedures are followed throughout the business and best price is in practice. Liaison with engineers and clients, general office administration, reception duties and support where required will keep you challenged and busy.
Other duties include: -
• Managing phone calls and correspondence e.g., emails, letters, packages etc.
• Greeting clients
• Dealing with queries
• Logging and allocating service calls
• Creating and updating records in our database
• Materials sourcing SOLVE THIS?
• Ordering parts
• Project support
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, sub-contractors, and staff
• Maintaining warehouse/van stocks (some goods handling)
• Chasing parts/orders with suppliers
• Creating quotations/chasing quotations with the client
• Report analysis
• Raising purchase orders
• Engineer support - paying parking/congestion and booking hotels
• Sorting and distribution of post
• Keeping stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 17.30
