Edwards Employment Solutions are working with a well established client based in Chesterfield, who are looking to hire a Bandsaw Operator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Hours of work are rotating shifts working 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm
Duties will include and not be limited too:
- Operating saws and cutting to specific measurements and requirements
- Operating Circular saws
- Using FLT counterbalance to load and unload
- Using overhead crane as and when needed to move the stock
- Ensuring the quality of work manufactured is of the standard established by the quality department
- Keeping work area clean and tidy at all times
- Working from engineering drawings
FLT and Overhead crane experience is advantageous but not essential
This is a temporary to permanent position with a pay rate of £11 - £11.50 per hour
