Edwards Employment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Line Chef for a busy Chesterfield based pub and restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar environment previously and must be competent to cook freshly made meals.
Duties will include:

Preparing and cooking a variety of meals from a typical ‘pub food’ menu

All aspects of kitchen management

Keeping work stations clean and tidy at all times

Completing temperature checks and recording information correctly

Maintaining the kitchen to the current 5* hygiene standards

Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
The hours of the role will vary, but will generally be between 11.30am and 8.30pm, with a 6pm finish on a Sunday. The days of work will vary, but are likely to be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
The pay rate for the role will start at the National Living Wage/approx 18.5K-20K, but there is scope for this to be increased after the probationary period.

No two days are ever the same and there will be the opportunity to become involved in various events as the hospitality industry returns to normal following the relaxation of the C19 restrictions - a really exciting time to be involved!
