Merchandising & Sales Executive - Senior Role

Due to rapid growth in recent times, our clients who are a Leeds-based luxury fashion clothing brand are looking to hire a self-motivated sales professional who has experience of managing multiple suppliers within a supply chain. 

This is a senior role, reporting to the Sales and Operations Director.  The purpose of the role is to drive sales to the business through the effective management of both key customers and suppliers - liaising with the numerous internal stakeholders involved in order to ensure that production deadlines are met and that customer orders are fulfilled.  

Duties of the Merchandising & Sales Executive role include: 

  • Relationship management of suppliers

  • Management of costs with suppliers, negotiating when business needs dictate

  • Monitoring stock levels and replenishing to meet production demands 

  • Work closely with design and sales team to ensure schedules are met

  • Track and progress orders

  • Manage delivery schedules

  • Administration of sales orders

  • Liaise with customers, managing them through the process

  • Dealing with queries as they arise


Skills and Experience Required for the role: 


  • Proven track record of managing a supply chain with multiple suppliers

  • Experience of strategic wholesale sales processes

  • Customer focussed with excellent communication skills

  • Highly organised individual

  • Creative and forthcoming with ideas

  • Bright and enthusiastic

  • A passion for fashion and style is helpful
