Edwards Employment Solutions are working with a well established client based in Chesterfield, who are looking to hire a Bandsaw Operator to join their team.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 2pm
Duties will include and not be limited too:
- To assist production management in the planning of and the carrying out of production activities
- Plan the production out using sales order information
- Maximise efficiency through continual improvement production methods
- Look to improve the products being manufactured
- Utilise personnel and machinery to achieve objectives
- Achieve and maintain necessary quality standards
- Maintain communication with other relevant departments and staff
- To actively maintain safe working practices
This role will suite someone with experience but ids not essential as training can be give to the right candidate.
This is a temporary to permanent position with a pay rate of £9.50 per hour
