🧾 About the Role:

Reporting to the Lead Export Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing key export accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the smooth administration of both new and repeat business.

 

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies and forecasts.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing international customers.
  • Respond to sales enquiries with quotations and relevant information.
  • Oversee key customer activities including sales, on-time delivery, forecasting, and stock provisioning.
  • Achieve or exceed gross profit targets for assigned accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Monitor global market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Accounts, Purchasing) to ensure order fulfilment.
  • Manage administrative processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct occasional international customer visits as required.
 

 

👤 What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in export sales within the aerospace metals industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent product, market, and industry knowledge.
  • Commercially aware and self-motivated.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in contract management and customer service
 

 

🏢 Working Environment:

  • Based at the Chesterfield facility with minimal travel required.
  • Regular collaboration with departments including Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality, and IT.
