We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative, to work at our well-established client, based in Chesterfield.
This is a temp to perm contract.
The role: Factory Operative
Salary: Meets National Living Wage
Hours: 8:00 to 16:30 (30 min lunch)
Start Date: Immediately

Main Duties:
- Unpacking and preparation of products for screen printing and laser engraving.
- Quality inspection and accurate packing of finished products.
- Ensuring all quality procedures and inspections are followed correctly to ensure orders are produced to the highest standards.
- Reporting any faults in products.
- Assist other production departments as necessary with general light assembly tasks.
- Maintaining work areas to safe, clean and organised standards.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with light manufacturing operations is preferred.
- A ‘can-do’, flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Reliability, must have excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work in a quick and efficient manner as part of a small team.
- Have a high degree of manual dexterity.
- Must have reliable transportation.
