We are representing a leading local manufacturing company dedicated to excellence in product quality and safety, who are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager, reporting to the Factory Manager at their site in Chesterfield.
As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for all H&S considerations for the site, comprising a busy manufacturing area and offices.

The Role of Health & Safety Manager

Oversee all aspects of environmental, health, and safety management for the site

Maintain and develop ISO 9001, 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems

Manage in-house health and safety systems
-
Provide H&S support and advice to management and employees
-
Promote a culture of H&S excellence
-

Experience Required for Health and Safety Manager

Knowledge of COMAH regulations
-
Familiarity with Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and UK regulations

Proficiency in Windows IT-based applications

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Excellent communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively
