We are currently recruiting for a Electrician, to join the team at our metal packaging Client, based in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
They are a global company with expertise in producing and supplying sustainable metal packaging.

Salary details & package
- £39,310 to £44,959.20 per annum
- Working hours – 3 Shift Role Rotation - Days, Nights, Afters
- 33 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
- Up to 7% employer contribution pension
- Free onsite parking
The Role – Electrician
- As an Electrician, you will report to the Shift Team Leader
Job Purpose
To work closely as a team ensuring consistent application of company procedures, engineering standards and improvements.
To maintain and improve plant performance in a safe and proficient manner, Accurately recording information for future reference.
To promote and conduct a pro-active planned maintenance culture.
To identify opportunities and deliver solutions for continuous business improvement.
Duties
- To communicate effectively with, and support production departments with advice and information to maintain the effective running of the equipment
- To support the production operatives as a technical back up as and when required
- To help ensure appropriate stock levels of critical replacement parts
- To carry out maintenance and repairs to all equipment as required
- To make recommendations and carry out work to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Ensure Product Quality
- To improve the work areas by following 5S principles and caring for the assets

Must have:
- City & Guilds Level 3 as a minimum, ideally HNC in Electrical Engineering
