We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator, to join the team at our Engineering client based in Chesterfield.
Role: Machine Operator
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Working hours: 8:00am to 16:30pm (30min lunch)
Rate of Pay: £23,795.20 - £26,000 per annum
As a machine operator, you will be performing general duties included within the manufacturing of metallic gaskets. You will be using a range of bespoke machinery prevalent to the gasket industry. The role also incorporates a level of metal working equipment such as lathes (manual and standard centre), waterjet cutters and general hand tools.
The candidate:
Essential - Experience with Manual Lathes / Manual Centre Lathes
Essential - Previous experience working with metal, turning and milling
Essential - Knowledge of and skills to use a waterjet cutter
Desirable - Gasket Manufacture experience
