We are representing a leading Chesterfield based manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer, to work within their Maintenance Team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned maintenance and reactive repair of breakdowns of all factory equipment - electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical.

The Role of Maintenance Engineer

Repair of all factory equipment

Root cause analysis
-
Suggesting process improvements
-
Accurately recording breakdowns
-
Carrying out PPM in line with schedules
-
Taking part in machine installations
-
Working with the team to achieve production and maintenance KPI’s

A variety of other tasks, typically expected with the role of Maintenance Engineer
Experience Required for Maintenance Engineer
-
Electrical bias, ideally apprentice trained or equivalent qualification
-
Min of 4 years similar experience in a multi-skilled role
-
Able to work alone and confidently make decisions
-
Must be able to multi-task

Great analytical skills
