We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor, to join the team at our Engineering client, based in Nottinghamshire.
They are a well-established and market leading engineering contractor, with strong links to the water and nuclear industries.
This role of Mechanical Supervisor is field based and will cover the South East region
This is a permanent vacancy for Mechanical Supervisor. You will be a direct employee, from day one.

The Role – Mechanical Supervisor
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will report to the Project Engineer and be responsible for:
- Working on site, as the link between workforce, managers/engineers and planning department
- Managing the workload of site teams
- People management/HR - lateness, attendance, site permits, training, appraisals etc
- Liaising with clients
- Updating Project Manager on daily progress
- Health & Safety
- Leading Toolbox Talks
- Being aware of financial objectives of the projects
- Identifying areas of improvement in Best Practice
- Attend management meetings
The Candidate-YOU!
Must have:
- Minimum level 3 qualification or have 10 years field based experience within a specific skill based role.
- PASMA or MEWP training.
- Crane operations training (either Slingers Signaller or Lift supervisor to CPCS standard).
- Health & Safety First Aid (3 day)
- SMSTS (CITB).
- Confined Space Trained.
- Level 3 Leadership Training (or working towards).
- CSCS Supervisors card.
