Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver structural engineering designs on a variety of residential projects.

Collaborate directly with Clients, Developers, and internal teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.

Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging their development.

Independently manage workloads, meet deadlines, and ensure the highest standards of quality.

Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the business with your technical knowledge and proactive attitude.
Essential Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in structural engineering, including at least 5 years specialising in the residential sector.

Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferably chartered with ICE or IStructE).

Strong working knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and Building Regulations.

Significant experience designing with reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.

Good understanding of geotechnical principles and their application in foundation design.

Confident in interpreting ground investigation reports and topographical surveys.

Experienced in detailed foundation design for large-scale housing developments.

Competent with AutoCAD 2D and structural design software such as Tekla Tedds and Masterseries.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly organised, with excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Passionate about continual learning and development, both personally and in mentoring others.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Valid CSCS card.
