Edwards Employment Solutions are currently working on a fantastic, new opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a prestigious, bespoke Automotive business in Chesterfield.
The company is looking for someone who is ready to pursue an exciting new career within the Automotive Industry.
Role: Service Engineer - Automotive
Hours: 8:30am to 17:00pm – 30 Min Lunch Break (40 hour week)
Days: Monday to Friday with overtime available
Pay: £12.00 per hour / £24,960 per annum
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days + Bank Holidays
Bonuses – Excellent Bonus Structure (Production)
Day to Day Duties:
- Completing Daily Job Sheet Duties and Fitting Requested Extras
- Fault Finding on Vehicles within Warranty and Completing Necessary Repairs
- General Servicing and Maintenance
- Fitting Accessories to Vehicles such as Diesel Heaters and Solar Panels etc.
- Testing Internal Appliances and Wiring.
* The primary job role is workshop based, working on customer vehicles and carrying out Services, Repairs and Installations. It is advantageous if you already have some knowledge and experience, but not critical as the company are offering full training and continuous professional development. *
The ideal Candidate:
- Will have previous experience working within the automotive industry
- Experience and/or Knowledge of Motorhome / Caravan Conversions (ideal)
- Mechanic Background – Personal or professional
- Be a Strong Team Player
- Be diligent and detail orientated.
- Have the ability to complete tasks within a strict timescale and to a quality standard
