The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced HR Officer to join a fast-paced FMCG business, with a heavy focus on their warehouse and logistics operation, but also supporting office and field-based staff.
This is a hands-on, operational HR role. You won’t just be pushing paperwork - you’ll be a visible presence on-site, supporting managers, driving compliance, and ensuring the people agenda aligns with business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers

Support with employee relations matters (absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances)

Manage recruitment and onboarding processes

Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies

Maintain accurate HR records and documentation

Support payroll processes and HR reporting

Assist with workforce planning and headcount tracking

Contribute to culture, engagement and retention initiatives
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience in an HR Officer / HR Advisor level role
-
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
-
Confident managing ER cases independently
-
Experience within warehouse, logistics or industrial environments desirable

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Calm under pressure and commercially aware
-
CIPD Level 3 or above desirable
