Junior Print Operative
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: Available during busy seasonal periods, paid at time and a half.
We're looking for a motivated Junior Print Operative to join our busy production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the print industry.
While previous print experience would be an advantage, it isn't essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Junior Print Operative, you'll receive full training and learn how to operate large-format printing equipment while supporting the production team with a variety of tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the operation of printing machinery.
- Learning how to set up and run print equipment.
- Preparing materials for production.
- Carrying out general production and operative duties.
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work at pace in a busy production environment.
- Capable of working independently once trained, without the need for constant supervision.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ideally experienced in a manufacturing, warehouse, or print environment (although full training will be provided).
- Ideally a driver with access to their own transport due to the location of the site.
