Sales Executive / Account Manager
Location: Sheffield (20% Travel)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 + Commission + Benefits (Typical £35,000 with OTE)
My client is expanding their sales team and are looking for a relationship focused and consultative Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers while actively developing new business across South Yorkshire and the surrounding area. This is an office based role but includes occasional travel, it’s ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, meeting clients face‑to‑face and closing deals through a consultative approach.

Responsibilities:
- Selling a portfolio of products and associated services
- Developing new business through proactive prospecting
- Managing and grow existing customer accounts
- Making new business calls to potential customers
- Conducting fact‑finding meetings to understand client needs
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintaining accurate weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Building long‑term customer relationships based on trust and service
- Maintaining strong product knowledge and stay up to date with industry developments
Requirements:
- Experience of selling over the phone
- Confidence speaking with customers face to face
- A down-to-earth personality and relationship focused approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in an organised way
