CNC Turner/Programmer (Fanuc)

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £33,000 – £45,760 per hour, depending on turning and programming experience
Contract: Permanent | Day Shift

We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing precision engineering company based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner with Fanuc experience, with pay ranging from £16 to £22 per hour depending on your ability across programming, setting and operating.

The business is looking for someone who can bring strong technical knowledge, produce high-quality components and work confidently within a precision engineering environment.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.

• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to specification.

• Writing, editing and optimising CNC programmes.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machines.

• Carrying out first-off inspections and quality checks.

• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality throughout production.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner.

• Experience with Fanuc controls is essential.

• Programming, setting and operating experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
