A well‑established law firm in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Paralegal to join their busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, organised and proactive legal support professional who enjoys working within a fast‑paced conveyancing department.
You will provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Residential Conveyancing team, ensuring matters progress smoothly and clients receive an efficient, professional service.
Responsibilities:

Document Production - Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents, contracts, forms and correspondence.

File Management - Opening, maintaining and closing files, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.

Client Communication - Handling incoming calls, emails and enquiries professionally, maintaining excellent client care.

Diary & Workflow Support - Managing diaries, booking appointments, scheduling meetings and supporting fee‑earners with workload organisation.

Land Registry & Searches - Submitting applications, conducting searches and assisting with pre‑completion and post‑completion tasks.

Conveyancing Support - Assisting with contract packs, enquiries, SDLT forms, TR1s and other conveyancing documentation.

Billing & Administration - Assisting with billing, file audits, compliance checks and general administrative duties.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a legal support role, ideally within residential conveyancing.

Excellent communication and customer‑care skills.

Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

A proactive and solutions‑focused approach to work.

Confidence using MS Office Suite and case management systems.
