Pressman – 12 Week Temp to Perm Opportunity

Shift: Days or Nights
Contract: 12-week temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Pressman to join our production team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous hydraulic press and production experience who is looking for a long-term permanent position. Successful candidates will initially be employed on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Key Duties
- Operating a hydraulic press safely and efficiently
- Manufacturing silicone materials to the required specifications
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards
- Packing finished orders ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following production procedures and health & safety requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating a hydraulic press
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and quality control skills
- Reliable and hardworking with a good work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working long shifts in a production environment
Shift Patterns & Hours
Day Shift
5:45am – 5:45pm
48-hour paid week
Night Shift
5:45pm – 5:45am
48-hour paid week
Working Pattern
- Mainly Monday–Thursday
- Occasionally Monday–Wednesday
- Once permanent, Thursday may be paid even when not worked in certain circumstances
Pay & Benefits
First 12 Weeks – Temporary / Agency
- Paid at minimum wage
- Paid weekly on Friday
- 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
Once Permanent
- Pay increase upon going permanent
- Paid weekly on Thursday
- £200 quarterly bonus
- Additional bonus paid every second week of the month
- Long-term permanent opportunity
